Sarvin is fond of cartoons

Sarvin just like to watch the cartoon everytime. Whether its him  eating his meal, doing potty or sleeping . For cartoon he says hau hau .. That is code word for cartoon. And when he sits for cartoon he won't hear anyone calling him  except he hears cartoons. After end of each cartoons he get so much excited that he dances.

Happy Krishna Janma Asthami

Janma means 'birth' and ashtami means the 'eighth day'. The eighth day of the dark fortnight in the month of Bhadra (August/September), is celebrated as Krishna Janmashtami. It commemorates the birth of Krishna, who was born to kill Kansa, the evil king of Mathura. This festival is very popular in Hinduism.  According to legends, Krishna was born at midnight. The festival is a community celebration, and people visit Krishna temples, which are specially decorated and lit for the occasion. My two little Rockstar are also Krishna and Balram to me.So Happy Krishna Janma Asthami from their side too.

Sarin रुन्छ

आजकल Sarin change हुदै छ. मलाई लाग्छ अब Sarinलाई भोक लग्यो भने रुनु पर्छ भन्ने थाहा भैसक्यो. एकचोटि चेक गर्नकोलागि दुध नदिई राखेको त बाफरे बाफ … रोएर आशु नै निकालेको . अनि रोएको नि कसरि भन्दा आवाज ठुलो निकालेर मया मया गर्दै रोइरहेको. दुध ढिलो दिएको त एकछिन सम्म खाएन , रिसाएर होला . सानो फुच्चे छ तर रिसाउन सिकिसक्यो..

Sarinको मिल्ने साथी सानो बाबा

सरिनलाई सानो बाबा एकदम मनपर्छ. सानो बाबा भयो भने गफ गरेर बस्छ. खोइ के के गफ हुन्छ हामीले बुझ्दैनौ तर दुईजना चाहि गफमा नै मस्त हुन्छ. सरिन हासी हासी कुरा गर्छ आफ्नो सानो बाबासंग. सरिनको  Best Friend सानो बाबा.

Sarvin, Learning language

Sarvin is learing power of words and we all are learning it with him. I remind of those days when he could not talk , just cry and sulk. Sarvin is at 20 months and he has almost more than 100 words in his vocabulary. Now he definitely knows the name of stuff that he wants. His most interesting words are: Taatii : If he wants to place something in its place he says taatii. Boobu: If he wants milk, he says boobu. Hamma:If he wants rice he says hamma. Granny has to feed him before she eats. Nunu: If he wants to sleep he says Nunu. Hauhau: If he wants to see cartoon he will say hau hau. He is crazy of watching cartoons. He won’t eat his meal unless carton on TV is on. Ghurra:If he wants to go for drive, he grab his Dad keys and pull him to door and shows his Dad’s car and says ghurra.. Juch: He likes to have juice and he sometimes go on hunger strike to have juice. Bye , Tata: Whenever his uncle is out for office , he give his uncle flying kiss and says Bye Tata until uncle is out of his sight.

सरिनको मुस्कान

आजकल मेरो एउटा काम हुन्छ . सरिनको behavior र activities हेर्ने. बच्चाहरु भएपछि समय बितेको नि थाहा नै न हुदो रहेछ. सरिन ३ महिनाको भैसक्यो तर हेर्दा ६ महिना को जस्तो देखिन्छ र उसको हाउभाउ पनि छ महिनाको बच्चाको जस्तो छ. खुट्टा त एती उफार्च कि भनेर साध्य नै छैन. अनि सरिन आहिले हास्न नि जान्ने भै सक्यो.  उसलाई बोलायो भने मुसुक्क हास्छ.

Coping with Sarvin

Sarvin has become so naughty these days that I should keep a close eye on him. Hitting, scratching and biting has become a common behaviors of him. But I can see that these are the fierce desire of him to become independent. I asked with my mother in law and my mother, both said that all toddlers go through this phase. It’s the job of parents to teach how to behave. So when he starts to hit,bit or push , I just remove him from the situation and gently but firmly I remind him that hitting is not okay. Remember, don’t hit your baby because this tactic unfortunately has opposite effect . Your baby will think that hitting is okay. He loves to try his uncle and dad shoes to show that he wants to be like them. He also pretends while playing. Most surprising act of his is that whenever he finds Sarin, his little brother crying, he tries to soothe by making small baby sound. Though he is just 20 months, but he shows that he can care his brother. Sometime he is so affectionate that he continues kissing me . He sits on my lap and cuddle . He sometimes want to help me with household chores though at last it ends up with mess. But he likes to do grown up things even without other help. Like he recognizes the key of house and our post box exactly and tries to open by himself. Sarvin has become clever these days.

Sarin at Three Months

Sarin is growing bigger and becoming more aware everyday. He smiles a lot. Aww!!! His cooing, smiling are everything to me and I like to picture each and every things about him. Though figuring out the baby behavior is  not easy task for any parent. He is about three months old and I can notice he is stretching and kicking his legs. This movement strengthens leg muscles  and which will help him later to roll over. I think this rolling will probably happen after few weeks. I can’t wait .But I should be very careful. After that I should never leave him unattended . These days he grasps objects in the hands. He can also support his head.He has started to open and shut his hands and move his hands to his mouths. His vision is also starting to improve because these days he follow  moving object  and observes light. If television is on then he tries to look at television.

Sano Bhunte Sarin

My sano bhunte raja  Sarin is also so sweet. He is growing so fast. He is about 3 months but he looks like 6 months baby. Just look at his activity, his movement ...awwhh.. I like watching his sweet little behavior..

Sarvin doing क ka

Sarvin has started holding pen.When he gets any sort of pen he tries to write on paper or whatever piece of paper he gets. While writing he says Ka ka क क . My little boys is growing day by day and I am amazed by his activities. Everyday he surprises me with his activities. I love you my baby. God bless you.

Someone is very busy

My naughty boy Sarvin is very mischievous. The entire day he is busy with making mess around the house. But sometime he behaves so nicely that I have to think “ Is this same Sarvin?”. The video shows that how he behaves sometimes and keep himself busy. He is not even paying attention to things around him. He is just busy with his stuffs. He is so much concentrated.

Smoothie

My baby Sarvin likes smoothie very much. Well, smoothie is a drink that is made using a variety of ingredients like fresh or frozen fruit. Smoothie has a thicker consistency than plain juice, and are commonly blended.
Its very easy to make smoothies. Kids love it. Smoothies is perfect for kids, because these are fresh, high in fiber, low in fat and loaded with vitamins and antioxidants.
Just Three Steps and your Smoothie is ready.

• Choose the ingredients ( Strawberry, Apple, Blackberry, Banana, Pear and so on which flavor your kids like )
• Puree all ingredients with blender adding milk or yogurt. ( I am using Kitchen Aid Brand Blender )
• Serve to your kids.

ECZEMA

Eczema, my both kids are affected by it. Due to this allergy skin gets red and irritated. Doctor says that most common cause of eczema is atopic dermatitis.The word "atopic" means sensitive to allergens like pollens, molds, dust, animal dander, and certain foods. "Dermatitis" means inflamed, or red and sored skin. Some says eczema may be hereditary. But in my kids case it is not. About 1 out of every 10 kids develops eczema. That’s so weird statistics. Normally, symptoms appear in first few months of life to till 5. But the good news kids who have eczema today will be over it by the time they're teenagers.I hope the same case will be with my kids. I have been using Cetaphil Cream on Eczema. It works.

Potty Training

I am not quite sure about when to start Sarvin potty training. It is seen that most children begin to show sign between 18 and 24 months. I have been watching his sign of readiness for potty but I usually miss it. That happens most of the time. Sometime he clutches his diaper, and says Aachi – आची. But usually it’s a pee only . He is so mischievous that he says aachi and sits on potty chair which should be in front of television so that he can watch cartoon. His favorite cartoon is Toopy and Binoo.  But I am trying my best. Hope I will get succeed one day for sure.

Sarvin got a swimming pool

It’s summer. Temperature is rising and it’s hot. Sarvin is also feeling hot. So, I bought a small swimming pool for him. He was so excited to play with water that he played for whole 1 hour .

Sandy Sarvin

Lethbrige Park is nearby our house. Sarvin, my boy is really fond of playing. Look at him, he is playing with sand. He played whole 1 hour there. I had to do lot of effort to bring back to home from there. When I was not watching him, he was feeding himself with sand, my boy !!

Sarin is playful too like his brother Sarin. He has got a cute smile. Sarin is now 1.5 months old, but his activities are like of 3 months old baby. He lifts his hands, moves his head and lifts his legs . He has started smiling a bit.

Grandsons and Grand Parents

Sarvin and Sarin both are fond of their grandparents. Aja and Aji has become part of their life . They both like to play with Aja and Aji. Sarvin like Aja’s Nepali Dhaka topi.

Sarvin’s Vocabulary

Sarvin is in 19th month and by the checklist of kids vocabulary he can utter more words than the baby on this age must. Sarvin can say following words:

Mam Babu Papa Pa Huni Pai Athu Nana No Dudu Dada Hapu Hajur Bhai Aji Nini One Four Hamma Nine Six Eight Hello Ka Bha La Heenaa Tata Bye Nunu Well, according to checklist, he should speak about 20 words. Right now I can memorize just 29 words. He is rich in vocabulary, My smart boy.

Sarvin is very playful. Sarvin likes to talk so very much. The phone he is playing is dummy one. He is pretending as if he is talking to somebody . Isn't he so cute?

Feeling for Sarvin

I think sometimes he is overwhelmed by the fact that he has to share his parents. He is just 19th month and he is still a baby and he needs us. It is obvious that get  distracted by Sarin and I feel  it makes him sad. He cannot talk properly to express his feelings. But never, not once has he taken out her feelings on him, which amazes me every time. He is always in hurry to kiss him. If he sees any picture in magazine, he points and says “Bhai”.

Sharing is Caring

Sharing is caring. Sarvin knows that. You can see in the video below that he is sharing pop-corn with his dad. Sarvin likes pop-corn so very much.

Sarin likes Boo-buu !!

Sarin likes milk so much. He need bottle of milk in every 2 hours or he will start crying.

Sarin with Aji

Aji means Grand- Mother in Newari Language. Sarin spends most of the time with his Aji. Aji loves Sarin so much. He like to have nap on his Aji’s lap.

Sarvin Baby Talks

I was so worried about my baby Sarvin. He talks but in his baby language. But after visiting the doctor and going through the Baby Communication checklist I feel ok. From that checklist I get to know lot. Like at 3 months baby is startled by sudden noise and soothed by calm voice. And baby cries, gurgles and grunts. At 6 months baby responds to find a familiar voice and make different cries for his different need. When baby is at 9 month, he/she can respond to their name. They can understand word like bye, yes, no. They try to reach for items. They babbles. When baby is 1 year old they can follow single step instruction and can combines sounds as if talking. At this age they can consistently use 3 to 5 words. They can now wave hand for saying bye and shake head to say no. At 18 months, they can say minimum of four  different  consonant sound  like p, b, h, m, n, d, w, g. They can point to the  body parts  and pictures  in the book when asked. They can consistently use 20 or more words. They also can respond to simple question like where is your brother . At 2 years, baby can follow two step direction and used 100-150 words. At 30 months, baby can use action word like laugh, run, drop. They can now speak words with two syllables like banana. Now baby is rich of 350 and more word vocabulary.

So my baby is 18 months now. I checked from the checklist and he has more scoring than in checklist. He says Papa, Mam, Pa (Water), Bhai, Aji, Aja. He can understand our direction. He point at the things we ask or he wants. We can understand him and he can understand us .

Sarvin can climb stairs on his own

I was busy in cleaning work. I heard someone climbing stairs but I did not bother thought that must be mother in law. Then I saw Sarvin, my boy in front of me, smiling. I rushed towards stairs and didn't see anyone. Sarvin  did it. I was perplexed. He really did it? My cutie pie is now grown up.

Nwaran puja means giving name to baby. It is done on 11th day of baby’s birth.

Nakkali Sarvin Maiya

Sarvin is so mischievous indeed. You can see in the picture that he is wearing all the accessories of his mom. I am surprised that how he knew that bangles should be worn at hand. Any way my BADMAS NAKKALE looks BEAUTIFUL.

Welcome Sarin

My youngest boy came into this world on 11:25am, May 25th,2013.Thank –You God for this parental instincts. Now our world has changed.Thanks to everyone who offered congratulations and well wishes on our new addition to our family. We are now complete. Mom, Dad and Two  Little Rockstar.

My Rockstars First Photos

My two little Rockstars Sarvin and Sarin. They look so cute and similar that is  why thier name are also similar. Sarvin is the eldest one, big brother, born on January 19th 2012 and Sarin the youngest one, born on May 25th 2012. They  both were born in same hospital, William Osler Health System, Brampton Civic Hospital, 2100 Bovaird Drive East, Brampton, Ontario. The following photos are their first photos after the birth.

Funtime at Port Credit

On the weekend we all family went to Port Credit. Sarvin enjoyed a lot there he was running here and there, collecting weeds and playing balls. He had a very nice day out indeed.
